Static Maps

Google Maps has a concept called Static Maps, whereby I can show a satellite image of a particular location. While similar to their satellite maps, it is only an image, and cannot be panned or zoomed. I've known about this feature for a while, but was not sure of how to implement it, or even if I needed to.

This morning, it came to me -- show static satellite imagery of the location for a picture! And show it on the Picture page! So that's what I did, and might I say, I'm happy with the results. Just go to any abandoned route that has pictures, and if I've added coordinates to those pictures, you will see satellite imagery of where that picture is on the Picture page.
