I have an article on the Louisiana Midland Railway on my website. I used to live in Louisiana, twice actually: once in Slidell (north of New Orleans), and once in Shreveport. I personally have not seen the LM.

However, it is with great excitement that I will be posting pictures of the Louisiana Midland on a dedicated page. Why? Brian Allison (who contributed said article) has decided to send me a lot of pictures from his collection of the Louisiana Midland. The few pictures I have received have been great, and he will be sending me more pictures as time goes on.

You see, he had intended to publish a book on the Louisiana Midland Railway, complete with 10 years' worth of his research and photograph collection. However, he has been unable to get started on it, and has since decided to share all of his photographs with me for posting to Abandoned Rails. It is an opportunity that I greatly welcome.
